Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information VioMuse collects, how we use it to operate your sidekick, and the choices you have over your account and data.
Last updated: May 21, 2026
1. Who we are
VioMuse is operated by V20X. If you have privacy questions or want to exercise your data rights, contact us at support@viomuse.com.
VioMuse is a personal AI sidekick for conversation, planning, Library records, Routines, generated images, files, and voice-based interactions. We process personal data to provide and improve those services.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide, information created while using VioMuse, and basic technical data needed to run the service.
- Account data: name, email address, login provider identifiers, plan status, timezone, and account settings.
- Sidekick setup data: your sidekick name, personality settings, bio, appearance settings, selected reference images, and generated portraits or images.
- Conversation data: messages, selected or highlighted text, source message references, suggested replies, and assistant responses.
- Library and Routine data: records, tags, starred records, attached files, saved links, generated documents, Routines, run timing, reminders, and outputs.
- Uploaded or generated content: audio, transcripts, images, videos, documents, CSV, Markdown, text, JSON, SVG, and other files you add or ask VioMuse to create.
- Billing data: subscription status, Stripe customer identifiers, plan selection, invoice and payment metadata. We do not store full payment card numbers.
- Usage and security data: logs, device and browser information, IP address, diagnostics, feature usage, trial and entitlement checks, abuse prevention signals, and error traces.
3. How we use information
- Provide, personalize, secure, and maintain VioMuse.
- Generate AI responses, images, files, Library records, Routine outputs, and transcripts.
- Maintain continuity across conversations, including sidekick memory and topic context.
- Operate trials, paid plans, read-only mode, fair-use limits, billing, and customer support.
- Debug, monitor, protect against abuse, enforce our terms, and improve product quality.
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, and safety obligations.
4. AI providers and third-party services
VioMuse uses trusted infrastructure and AI providers. Depending on what you ask VioMuse to do, relevant content may be sent to these services so they can provide hosting, storage, authentication, payments, AI generation, transcription, image generation, or routing.
- Supabase: authentication, database, storage, and account data.
- Cloudflare: hosting, routing, worker execution, and scheduled jobs.
- Stripe: checkout, subscriptions, customer portal, billing, tax, fraud, invoices, and payment processing.
- Anthropic and OpenAI: AI chat, web-aware responses, and audio transcription.
- Google and Gemini: image generation and related AI processing.
- Google OAuth: sign-in when you choose Google login.
These providers process data under their own terms, privacy policies, and data processing arrangements. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Legal bases for processing
Where UK or EU data protection law applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Contract: to create your account, provide VioMuse, process subscriptions, and deliver requested AI features.
- Legitimate interests: to secure the service, prevent abuse, improve reliability, understand usage, and support customers.
- Consent: where we ask for consent, such as optional settings or certain communications.
- Legal obligation: for tax, accounting, sanctions, fraud prevention, and other required compliance.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep account, conversation, Library, Routine, file, and image data while your account is active or as needed to provide VioMuse. You can delete Library records, files, and account content through the product where those controls are available.
If you delete your account, we delete your VioMuse account data, conversations, Library records, sidekick settings, generated portraits, uploaded attachments, and local subscription record from our active systems where technically possible. Some data may remain in backups, logs, provider systems, or billing records for limited periods where required for security, fraud prevention, legal, accounting, or provider operations.
Stripe may retain invoices, payment records, and customer records as required for billing, tax, audit, and compliance.
7. Age requirements
VioMuse is for users aged 13 and above. If you are 13 to 17, you must have permission from a parent or guardian before using VioMuse. VioMuse is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal data to VioMuse, contact support@viomuse.com so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
8. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data, including managed authentication, access controls, provider security features, HTTPS, monitoring, and operational safeguards. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
9. International transfers
VioMuse and our providers may process data in countries other than where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate legal transfer mechanisms and provider data processing terms.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, object to, or restrict the processing of your personal data. You can also cancel your subscription through Stripe and delete your account from Settings.
To make a privacy request, contact support@viomuse.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
If you are in the UK, EU, or another jurisdiction with a privacy regulator, you may also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.
11. Cookies and local storage
VioMuse uses cookies and similar browser storage where needed for authentication, session persistence, security, app preferences, and product operation. We do not currently operate a non-essential advertising cookie stack in the product.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as VioMuse changes. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users through the app, email, or another appropriate channel.
The Terms and Conditions also apply to your use of VioMuse.
